The Swoon Event’s Inaugural New Orleans Affair

The Swoon Event came through New Orleans this past weekend, and we were honored to have been one of the many amazing vendors lucky enough to set up shop in The Ace Hotel New Orleans.

This was Swoon’s inaugural event in NOLA, and we knew it would be awesome. However, there were so many aspects of this event in particular that totally blew us away. For one, the DJ rocked it – the vibe in the room was fun and fabulous.

Team Kim Starr Wise could be found in the far corner of the room with a big and bountifully blooming booth. We thought it would be a fun idea to make our booth interactive, so we dressed up our gorgeous mannequin and created all kinds of fun, wearable floral art.

Key takeaway from that experiment: it was so much fun. Among our favorite parts of the whole day was meeting and interacting with so many new friend(or)s that we never met before, and seeing the guys & gals walking around the event sporting our wearable floral art. Loved the dudes with their KSW pocket squares and the beauties showing off their handmade bracelets. When we weren’t engaging with everyone at the event, we were busy making fresh bouquets and restocking our display with corsages, boutonnières, flower necklaces, bracelets, and more.

We called our booth the Imagination Station, and threw our favorite hashtag on signage and matching t-shirts.
